Pastor Chris and Trish Robinson are the Lead Pastors of Road to Righteousness Ministries in Cleveland, OH. This laymen's led ministry was founded in 2016 as they begin hosting small gatherings and events prior to their ordination. Throughout the years, they have served in various ministry roles both individually and collectively. The Robinsons met and became friends at Harvest Missionary Baptist Church in 1992, where they served and sang together under the leadership of Pastor A. F. Caver and have been serving together every since.
They were joined together in marriage in June 2008, by their pastor at that time Bishop Shawn Braxton where they continued to do the Lord's work at New Life Cathedral. While both are considered to be parents to many, they have seven children of their own making up one amazing blended family. Family, ministry and servanthood have always played a major role in their lives and has become the tie that binds them together under God's leading. As God shifted so did they, since 2019 Pastor Chris and Pastor Trish have served and operated as Campus Pastors and Leadership Support at Resurrection Church on the Rock under the leadership of Apostle Marcus A. Taylor.
Although he considers himself introverted, Pastor Chris can become ver vocal at times. As a sports fan of primarily team sports, a leader and coach he takes a strategic approach to accomplishing the task se before him. He has a calm yet straight forward demeanor that has allowed him to gain the trust of those he may encounter. Deemed the "workplace pastor," at any given moment he finds himself providing counsel, care and correction to his colleagues, agency clients and community partners. After giving a God inspired answer based on his understanding of the situation, he will end the conversation with this phrase, "you know what you wanna do." leaving the choice to be yours, Pastor Chris will present the facts, you have to follow the plan.
Pastor Trish is quite the opposite and has coined herself "the Loud Leader and Creative Conversationalist," but a lot of people simply call her Pastor Auntie or Auntimomma. Her heart is to make sure that everyone is safe, seen, heard and supported as they are growing along in their walk with Christ. She talks about the tough stuff that may make you uncomfortable, but ensures to back it all up with scripture and practical application. Whenever she has to create friction in the lives of those around her, she simply reminds them of the scripture "iron sharpens iron, so does a man sharpen his brother." - Proverbs 27:17. People have been captivated by the revelation of heaven she has shared by way of cartoons, fairy tales and animation. She has created her own style of parable teaching which she uses to bring the gospel of Jesus to people of all ages.
As they live and lead a transparent life, preaching the gospel along the way - it is their desire to make discipleship a priority, community a common word and love a regulated practice by demonstrating Christ in all of their endeavors and helping others to see Him before them.
